Couples coaching is a more streamlined, solution focused, structured, short term approach to help you both or individually. Not the same as therapy, as advice, homework and guidance is given tailored to your needs as a couple. (Therapy is about the answers coming from you as individuals making the the learning deeper, finding your own life script and this takes time.)
In this solution focused, directive coaching approach, you will have the opportunity to learn rapidly thorugh a guided structure. Post coaching you will have the time to process what you have learned and return for maintenance if you feel the need. Further work may be needed for you as individuals to write and develop your own life script, which we can discuss. There also may be other issues such as depression, anxiety, loss or trauma which may need to be worked throuugh in therapy or individual coaching.
This approach outlined here is intense, takes hard work and personal committment. As a coach I am here to assist you on your journey. However, success much depends on your dynamics as a couple, the tools you choose to use, your openess to widen your perspectives and your curiosity to learn both as individuals and as a couple. And of course ... it also depends on what 'success' looks like to each of you?
