Anxiety, depression, addictions are all linked to trauma in our lives. Anything which upset your nervoius system, any experience where you did not feel safe or witnessed a frightening situation, is a trauma. Its not the trauma itself, its how you experienced it which set off fear in the body.
Our biological response for survival is our fight, flight, freeze response. We are supposed to come down after we have been terrified but often this fear gets stuck in our nervous system and we end up living in a cycle of fight, flight, freeze called 'survival'.
We can learn to retrain our bodies and minds to reset our nervous system to begin a different cycle. Using breathwork, our bodies including our minds and hearts, we can learn to live in a different way.
Once we only live in survival mode, we find our whole bodies patterns and our minds thoughts are all working from the same pattern.
We can learn to move from survive to thrive.
