Being in a place where you want to end it all is very real and can seem the only way out or to end the pain. Take a deep breath, seeking help takes courage and shows strength not weakness. It's normal to not want to be in pain, emotional or otherwise.
It's really important not to panic but give yourself or another, time and space to talk through what you or they are feeling. Rather than making this a taboo subject, it can really help to tak about it. Most of us have had feelings of ending it all at some point but will we be honest enough to admit that? Maybe you have never had those feelings so just can't understand why someone would have them. Whatever, your personal values, try not to judge others. You never know what it is like to walk in someone elses shoes.
Being left behind
Perhaps you have lost a loved one or a friend who decided to commit suicide. You may have many feelings such as confusion, grief, how could they be so selfish, anger, frustration, guilt and deep sadness. Loss is hard to bear especially when we feel it was unnesscessary. It can be hard to accept anothers decision to end their life. Perhaps you saw the signs and didn't act, tried to act but it was unsuccessful. You may feel hopeless and that there is little to be acheived from talking about how you are feeling. Talking about how you feel in a non judgemental space may help - is it worth giving it a try?
Do you recognise these signs in yourself or someone else? Talking may help.
